| Sales Officer Job Location (HQ) Assigned Territory Reporting Hierarchy Reports To: Assigned Area Sales Manager Team Reporting: Assigned Sales Executive / Field Assistant Educational Qualifications Essential B.Sc. in Agriculture or Botany Desirable Diploma or MBA in Sales/Marketing Experience Overall 6–10 years of experience in Sales. Experience in Vegetable Seeds Sales will be highly preferred. Relevant Industry Experience Mandatory: Seed / Agriculture Industry Candidates with good sales experience in the Agri-Chemical Industry may also be considered. Job Description / Responsibilities Strengthen existing business and aggressively develop new business in the assigned territory/region. Conduct intensive field promotional activities and product demonstrations in the assigned area. Organize demand creation activities at the farmer level. Build strong business relationships with Dealers and Distributors in the assigned area and continuously promote Company products through effective point-of-sale promotional activities. Collect and provide market intelligence to the Reporting Manager and support market development planning. Achieve the sales targets assigned at the beginning of the financial year. Ensure timely collection of payments. Support and train team members in achieving both individual and team targets. Ensure continuous development of team members. Desired Skills & Competencies Good knowledge and understanding of the Vegetable Seed market and competition. Strong negotiation, presentation, reporting, and interpersonal skills. Good written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint). Ability to communicate in Local Language, Hindi, and English. Cost-conscious approach towards business operations. Good geographical knowledge for effective travel planning. Willingness to travel extensively in rural areas. Strong planning, prioritization, and organizational skills. Compensation CTC: ₹4–5 LPA + Other standard benefits as per Company Policy.
