Based on sound platform of science, Innovation and technology Akshay seeds blends the superior local germplasm with accredited international genetic resources to deliver value added high quality hybrids and varieties to the farmers. We persistently use latest improved technologies to fast track product development process. Our product design philosophy aims at bringing superior products to mitigate the challenges faced by farmers due to climate change, seasonal fluctuation and onset of new diseases and pest. We commit to provide higher value added products after rigorous breeding, intensive product testing across various Agro-climatic zones and incorporating views and ideas of farmers, dealers and
consumers. We have well established Breeding & Product testing facilities in Vegetables and Field crops in Aurangabad.
We test the new generation hybrids in many locations across India.
We have well equipped highly qualified Breeding and Technical team with years of experience and expertise in Breeding for Vegetable and Field crops. We invest a significant percentage of turnover on Research and Development to ensure a continue stream of improved products that meet farmers expectation. We commit to deliver the best products to remain ahead of competition and delight the farmers with our product experiences.
Our R&D has been recognized and accredited by DSIR, New Delhi since 2017. We believe in
developing new generation products with higher yield, better disease tolerance, wider
adaptability and innovative agronomic traits to help farmers to get more from less resource.
Company has its own advanced R&D unit located at Chanakwadi, Aurangabad, Maharashtra.
We have unique, superior, and proprietary germplasm and intellectual properties which give us
robust platform for growth of Akshay Seeds brands in vegetable and field crops in future.

Main Objectives of R&D programme
Collection, Development, Evaluation and maintenance of germplasm of vegetable and field crops
Finalizing the breeding objectives for different vegetable and field crops considering the farmers present and future needs
Hybridization and evaluation of hybrids and improved varieties as per the breeding objectives
Evaluation of new hybrids/varieties along with competitors’ existing check at our own farms in different seasons and in different agro-climatic zones through multi locational trials and All India coordinated trials by SAUs.
Standardize the package of practices for each of our new hybrids/varieties as per different agro- climatic zones.
Release of hybrids & varieties in target market segments and prepare for soft launch. We also take the feedback of farmers about the performance of our new hybrids/varieties’.
Maintenance & multiplication of breeder and foundation seeds
We also take the help of our biotech facilities like Elisa, PCR, Marker assisted Selection to fast track the hybrid development process
